Vintage 40s mauve pink open shoulder evening dress
Fashioned of moire taffeta with pleated trim, covered buttons, in a stunning design
Dress is unlined, but the tailoring is high quality.
This has a matching caplet, that seems to be a slightly different color; I am guessing that it was never worn with this dress.
Sometimes with the dry cleaning process back then colors did change.
Condition is very good to age; missing 2 of the decorative covered buttons on the back of the dress; They are not functional buttons; the closure at the back is a hook and eye closure with the buttons placed for decoration only.
The dress slips over the head.
