Published in 1984 when the famous anime and sci-fi goods shop was still a cutting edge retailer, the General Products 1984 catalog is a snapshot of what folks were buying in the middle of the 1980s. As you'd expect there's a big emphasis on their Daicon Opening Animation goods, but you'll also see Ultraman and Godzilla products, western sci-fi like Star Wars and Blade Runner, plus lots and lots of illustrations and cute graphics that make flipping through this catalog a fun time capsule. 

Bonuses include short comics by Takami Akai explaining how to put together garage kits, a two-page layout showing how the General Products shop in Osaka was laid out, plus a sheet of stickers and flyers for General Products member's club, Known Space Club.
