Beautiful, moderately tempered cane with transparent caramel colored wraps with chestnut tipping at the winding check, ferrules, and tip-tops. Blued guides and ferrules. Peach colored agate stripping guide. The script is clean and bold. E.C. Powell influenced modified full-wells grip 6 1/2" in length with only the lightest of handling marks. Simple and elegant cap and ring reel seat over a gorgeously figured mortised walnut spacer. "Marty Karstetter Maker" is stamped into the butt cap. The Swiss-style ferrules are size 14/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs 3.70 oz. The action is on the faster side of medium-fast. Includes the original bag and tube.
