A Hardy Lightweight fly reel, 3 3/16" diameter and currently set up for RHW though easily convertible. Two screw model. This is an unusual model made with a solid unventilated spool, which I don't believe I have seen before (An early version from Hardy?). The location of the pillars is also unusual, boasting four rather than three and having them located approximately at the 8:30, 10:30, 1, and 3 positions. Near mint condition with a few trace marks on the frame edge and a tiny spot of line grooving on one of the pillars. Ribbed alloy foot. Ebonite handle. Mechanically, the reel is excellent. No line guard and no tensioner. No case or bag. An interesting reel for the Hardy fan who has it all.
