The design provides both efficient storage and improved gameplay. Many of the trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.

Note that due to the need for space for sleeved cards and the quantity of boards included in the game, the lid will lift by 2.3 cm when the box is fully loaded. More info on this in the Box Layout section. It supports sleeved cards (up to 100 micron sleeves) and allows for vertical storage.
