The Doherty Lyndhurst Hydraulic Variable Height Couch has been developed specifically for many applications in the modern GP practice and hospital environment. It uses a hydraulically operated variable height mechanism controlled via a foot pedal with manually adjustable self locking backrest and foot sections.

It is delivered fully assembled and with an attractive white epoxy coat. This finish also has the added advantage of incorporating Biocote® antimicrobial powder coating which provides an extra level of defence against microbial contamination.

It is available in 12 easy to clean modern upholstery colour options and features the distinctive Doherty upholstery styling which has become synonymous with quality products over many years. A paper roll holder, which in many competing products is a chargeable accessory, is fitted to the couch as standard. A comprehensive range of stylish accessories is also available helping to make the couch suitable for a vast range of potential clinical applications.

There is a simple leveling mechanism for uneven floors and a retractable castor for ease of movement.

There is also an option to upgrade this couch to include a breathing hole, and an electrically operated version is also available. Dual sided operation is possible, and it is capable of both head down tilt and foot up positions.
