Horology By The Sea is proud to present this extraordinary Special Edition from De Bethune, the DB28XP "Kind of Blue". The futuristic polished Grade 5 titanium case radiates a deep, luminous blue which is achieved through thermally heating the material at approximately 700° celcius.  Maximal comfort is achieved through use of De Bethune's patented floating lugs which gracefully adapt to the wrist’s contours.

The dial is a triumph of craftsmanship, and just as the case is crafted from blued titanium... so too is the dial.

The satin-brushed minute track and delta-shaped bridge, reminiscent of a starship’s command, anchor the design with futuristic elegance. The Rose gold spherical hour markers tie in nicely with the gold hour and minute hands. At the 6 o'clock position exists the blued titanium balance wheel set with white gold inserts, a patented flat-terminal-curve balance spring, and a silicon escape wheel.

A testament to De Bethune’s technical prowess is their manual-winding DB2115v12  which operates at 4 Hz

and features an exclusive triple pare-chute shock-absorbing system for enhanced durability. A power reserve indicator, visible through the sapphire caseback, chronicles the impressive 6 days of power (stored within two barrels).

The polished blued Grade 5 titanium case measures 43mm x 8.5mm x 54mm lug-to-lug and is in excellent condition. Furnished on an OEM Navy alligator strap and blued titanium buckle. Complete with Box and Papers.
