What is GrowBaby?

We designed the GrowBaby test to enable practitioners to gain powerful insights that support maternal health from preconception onwards to optimise the chances of a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

What health areas does it cover?

The genes covered by the GrowBaby test are selected based on multiple peer review studies that show how variations in these genes can contribute to health outcomes that effect maternal and baby health throughout the pregnancy journey.

It reports on 42 SNPs involved in 11 biological processes associated with maternal health risks and fatal phenotypes.

It provides insights into factors affecting risks including:

• Preterm births and large or small baby size for gestational age
• Recurrent pregnancy loss
• Pre-eclampsia
• Gestational / pregnancy induced hypertension
• Gestational diabetes
• Miscarriage
• Stress dysregulation phenotype
• Neural tube defect’s

GrowBaby is valuable for newly pregnant mums and mums to be. It can help optimise the chances of pregnancy as well as ensure a healthy pregnancy journey from pre-conception through to birth.
