There is enough wood and reduction to notice so I would strongly advise decanting this if you’re inclined to try a bottle young. There is outstanding richness to the big-bodied and overtly powerful flavors that possess a suave mouth feel before culminating in a firm and persistent if slightly leafy finish. I like the power and punch but the hint of herbaceousness is a potential concern. 89/2023+
