Bright guides. Western-style grip does show some soiling. Payne-style aluminum up-locking reel seat with fine, beautifully figured wood spacer. The rod features spigot ferrules, this enables a more efficient transfer of energy through the sections. The ferrule fit is nice and tight as it should be. Wonderful medium-fast action.
