Horology By The Sea is proud to present this beautiful and rare example of the Lange 1 with a grey dial, reference 101.030. In fact, it is believed that this grey dial is one of the rarest configurations for the 101 series of the Lange 1, ahead of the ‘Darth’. 

Dial side is a perfectly constructed representation of the golden ratio, featuring decentralization of the time, date, power reserve indicator and subdial for the seconds. The dial itself is crafted from solid silver and is set with indices made of white gold to match the four hands. The double disc date is adjusted through the pusher on the left-hand side of the case.

The reverse side reveals the absolutely gorgeous manually wound L901.0 Lange movement which beats at 3Hz and carries a power reserve of 72 hours. The movement has all the hallmarks of a Lange creation by Lange including expertly striped bridges and plates crafted from German silver, a hand-engraved balance cock, refined interior angles and chamfering with a level of hand finishing rarely seen from their Swiss competitors.

The 18 karat white gold case measures 38.5mm x 10.2mm x 47mm lug-to-lug and is in excellent condition. Furnished on a navy calfskin strap with signed 18 karat white gold pin buckle, and an additional OEM black alligator strap. No box.
