Offered here is a truly premium government postcard signed by the legendary Double X, dated April 8, 1967 - just three months before his untimely death at the age of only 59.

This example is already encapsulated for protection and long-term preservation. While it has not yet been numerically graded PSA/DNA, the postcard presents in flawless, problem-free condition with a bold, confident signature. In our opinion, it is an easy candidate for a Mint designation should one choose to pursue grading. The eye appeal is exceptional - clean, crisp, and beautifully centered.

Foxx’s career accomplishments place him squarely among the greatest right-handed hitters in baseball history:

Of particular note, his remarkable 14-year stretch from 1928 through 1941 stands among the most dominant sustained runs the game has ever seen - an era of production that, when examined closely, is simply staggering.

Beyond the diamond, Foxx’s legacy extended into popular culture. The character Jimmy Dugan in the film A League of Their Own (played by Tom Hanks) was loosely based in part on Foxx, who in fact managed in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League - adding another compelling layer to his historical footprint.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1951, Foxx passed long before autograph signings became commonplace and organized collecting reached modern levels. In his era, Hall of Famers were far less accessible to seekers, which only enhances the desirability of high-quality signed government postcards such as this.
