"LoFloSorb" Soda Lime

The "LoFloSorb" soda lime from Intersurgical for CO2 absorption contains neither sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide to reduce the risk of reaction with volatile anaesthetics. Additionally, the round shape of the "LoFloSorb" soda lime greatly reduces the formation of lime dust. As soon as the soda lime balls are saturated with CO2, they change from green to violet.

"LoFloSorb" is available in a 5-litre canister or in ready-made cartridges for various anaesthesia machines.
