This RG release is the first-ever 1/144 kit built from Katoki Hajime's new EW redesign of Wing Gundam. The variable-flight wing structure has been engineered around real flight logic, and the detailed mechanical wings carry articulation gimmicks that allow a full transformation into bird mode. Inner-frame articulation, partition lines and the layered armor characteristic of the RG line are all retained at this scale.
