For sale here is an impregnated Orvis Battenkill 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 30482, made in August of 1961. The rod remains in excellent original condition. All sections are full length with slight sets in both tips (easily straightened). 

The rod features Bakelite impregnated cane with transparent caramel colored wraps and bright guides. The script remains clean and bold. The varnish over the script and wraps is also in fine condition. U-shaped hook keeper. The cigar grip is 6 1/8" in length with moderate and very light ridging in places. Aluminum down-locking reel seat over a walnut spacer. The blued step-down nickel silver ferrules are size 13/64 with a great fit. The rod weighs 4.15 oz. The action is medium-fast. A terrific everyday dry fly rod for your local stream. Includes original bag and tube.
