The Golden Ratio of Water-Repellent Fabric — Loved for Over 50 Years
Crafted from the revolutionary “60/40 Cloth” developed by Sierra Designs in 1968.

Constructed with a 60% cotton weft and 40% nylon warp, this pioneering performance fabric reacts to moisture as the cotton fibers swell, tightening the weave to resist water while preserving breathability. Over time, it develops a rich, distinctive character that only improves with wear.




This special model features construction completed in Japan, even among Sierra Designs’ lineup.





The neckline is designed with a moderately high stand collar for reliable wind protection. Raglan sleeves enhance ease of movement around the shoulders.

The signature three-panel structured hood—an iconic Sierra Designs detail—can be adjusted with a drawcord, while the iconic leather cookie adds a distinctive design accent.



Hand pockets are placed at both sides.





A zip pocket is positioned at the left chest, sized to comfortably fit a hand—ideal for storing a smartphone or earphones.
