Rust-Oleum Mathys Primer 44HS – High-Performance Binding Primer

Rust-Oleum Primer 44HS is a ready-to-use, single-pack primer based on chlorinated rubber, specially designed to stabilize porous and friable mineral surfaces. It effectively binds loose particles and prevents excessive absorption of topcoats, making coatings more efficient and cost-effective. Its flexible film adapts to surface movement and becomes water-resistant within 1 hour (at 20 °C), making it ideal for use on roofs, walls, and floors.

Surface Preparation

Clean and degrease the substrate. If the substrate is an acrylic paint, this must NOT be
recoated with Primer 44HS (the acrylic paint is affected by the solvents of Primer 44HS). In
such a case, replace Primer 44HS with Pegafix.

Directions for Use
