Cauldon China is a pottery company that manufactures china and earthenware. The company's history may date back to the 1850s, when they began making earthenware and china at Cauldon Place in Hanley. In 1920, pottery entrepreneur Harold Taylor Robinson bought Cauldon (Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co.) Ltd. for £100,000. The company began using the name Royal Cauldon around 1930 and became part of the Wedgwood Group in the 1970s.
