An absolutely exceptional example of a late 19th century Arts & Crafts variation on a classic "crosway" style binding. In fine crushed morocco with raised bands, tooled dentils, and mineral marbled endpapers. Faintly blind-signed by the binder; likely Bayntun who was doing very similar Arts & Crafts updates on traditional style bindings.
