The French Terry fabric used by Monitaly was exclusively developed from their desire to make a perfect French Terry for Spring/Summer garments. Weighing in at 8oz, the mid-weight of the fabric is neither too heavy nor too light. The fabric is then finished with enzyme and silicon during the garment dyeing process, so it features an even softer and nicer touch. The double pleats on the front defines the look of these shorts. Two forward pleats that open inwards towards the center are complimented by an elasticated waist with interior cotton drawstring closure. The diamond-shaped crotch gusset was designed for easy movement while the two slash pockets finish off the front look. The single patch pocket at the right back is shaped like a baseball home plate and the edges are nicely top-stitched and the openings are reinforced with bar tacks.
