Standard Surgical Thumb Forceps – Peha®-instrument

These standard surgical forceps are made of brushed steel and, therefore, offer the advantage of glare-free use. These surgical thumb forceps are a single-use instrument from the Peha® disposable instrument series by Hartmann. Application:

Standard surgical thumb forceps have interlocking teeth with which pieces of tissue can be held easily without causing bruising from excessive pressure. Only strong structures such as connective tissue or fascias can be gripped with the standard thumb forceps; if the forceps are used with sensitive tissue, they could cause damage.
