There is a velvety palate impression to the muscular and impressively rich flavors that possess seemingly endless reserves of dry extract that do a fine job of buffering the exceptionally firm tannic spine on the succulent yet entirely serious finale. Stylistically this is not exactly old school but it’s clear that this is going to require a very long stay in a cool cellar as it’s built to age. (92-94)/2027+
