About the Creator

Ms. Finley was created by Stuffed with Personality, a blind-owned business co-founded by Tanja Milojevic – the blind voiceover artist you’ll hear bringing Ms. Finley to life. She worked with a professional writer and consulted with aquariums to make sure the shark’s 300+ sayings are both educational and entertaining. Tanja also narrated the audio description track for the Netflix nature documentary “Shark Whisperer.” In addition to her voiceover work, she and her team at GetBraille.com created the braille quick start guide for the BrailleDoodle.

Physical Description

This friendly plush shark has a soft gray body with a lighter underside. On top is a triangular dorsal fin, and underneath are two larger front fins, known as pectoral fins. Toward the back are two smaller fins, known as pelvic fins, and at the very end is the wide tail fin, known as the caudal fin. Curved embroidered lines on each side represent the gills. She’s 18 inches long, with large eyes and a wide, open red mouth that gives her a cheerful look. When squeezed, her underside lights up with a warm red glow. A small zipper on the underside holds the voice module.

Setup and Batteries

Ready to use right out of the box, each shark comes with three AAA batteries pre-installed inside the speech module and switched to the “on” position, ready to activate with a simple squeeze.
