A randomised, double-blind, placebo controlled study on 50 subjects with non-specific dyspepsia showed that, compared to placebo, patients experienced an average of 66% improvement in their Nepean index scores after taking 75 mg of GutGard® twice daily for 30 days. Another multicentre, randomised, double-blind, placebo controlled study on 106 subjects with non-specific dyspepsia showed 86% of participants experienced improvements in their symptoms after taking 500 mg of turmeric twice a day for seven days. Typical symptoms of non-specific dyspepsia include upper abdominal pain, indigestion, belching, bloating, acid regurgitation (reflux) and heartburn.
