(from a .60 ha parcel). Here the wood treatment is less subtle though it does not overshadow the more elegant and slightly cooler nose of spice, citrus and a broader array of floral elements. The wood though is definitely more prominent on the palate and it’s not subtle on the equally opulent yet finer medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the balanced and lingering finale that displays slightly better depth. This is woodier than I personally prefer but stylistic quibbles aside, it’s quite good.
