SigmaDur ONE- Single-Pack Urethane Polyester Finish

This single-pack urethane polyester finish is designed for marine maintenance coatings on topsides, decks and superstructures, offering a durable and decorative coating in thousands of colour options. Ideal for onboard refurbishment, it provides excellent flow, levelling and strong adhesion to sound aged coatings, including alkyd, chlorinated rubber and epoxy systems.

With a quick-drying, isocyanate-free, pre-reacted binder, this finish is easy to apply by brush or roller, making it perfect for touch-ups and maintenance where spray application is restricted. The coating delivers good colour and gloss retention, ensuring long-lasting appearance and protection in marine environments.

Surface Preparation

Substrate conditions
• Previous coat (alkyd, epoxy or polyurethane) must be dry and free from any contamination
• Previous coat: surface should be sufficiently roughened if necessary
Substrate temperature and application conditions
• Substrate temperature during application should not exceed 50°C (122°F)
• Substrate temperature during application should be at least 3°C (5°F) above dew point

Directions for Use

• Stir well before use
• The temperature of the paint should preferably be above 15°C (59°F)
• Adequate ventilation must be maintained during application and curing
