It's pretty obvious here at Moonraker Design Co. we hate sheetmetal screws through the skin of the van. They create burs and leave exposed metal untreated which is prone to rust.  Not to mention pointy things sticking through the skin of the van just seems wrong.  So when we mounted our Scanstrut DS-H-MULTI-BLK (the nicest pass-through in the game) for our antenna and rack lights we knew we had to come up with a better solution.

The interior mounting kit borrows from our MaxxFan design language and piggybacks on the same success found with our DS-HD6 interior bracket using high quality ABS plastic machined with the upmost care with threaded inserts pressed in. This not only gives you a more secure mount, but one that looks professional and finished and has a ziptie slot for cable management and strain relief too! 

Note: Included M4×0.7mm flat head screws are sized for single-layer van sheetmetal including without sound deadening. Thicker mounting locations require longer screws (not included).

• Comes with 4 new M4x0.7 black stainless machine Phillips screws to replace the sheetmetal ones from your Scanstrut kit.
• We recommend applying the included VHB tape on the van skin side of the bracket during install so the bracket stays in place if you ever need to service you Scanstrut from the roof. Simply cut it into strips and apply evenly spaced on the part.
