Wayne Shorter - The Soothsayer LPThis incredible set was recorded in 1965, when Wayne was on fire, having joined Miles Davis' band. The album wasn't released until the late 70's a real mystery as the playing here is great. Wayne is joined on a wonderfully creative session by fellow hornsmen Freddie Hubbard and James Spaulding and backed by one of the best rhythm sections in the business. Top notch Blue Note!
