A noticeable but not dominant dollop of wood frames the pretty, cool and solidly complex array of green apple, white flower, spice and wet stone scents. There is excellent power yet also fine detail to the big-bodied and tautly muscular flavors where the lemon-tinged acidity adds lift to the driving and impeccably well-balanced finale. As CortonCharlemagne goes this example is not particularly structured but it will definitely need at least a few years of cellar time to unwind and add depth. (91-94)/2021+
