A discreet but not invisible touch of wood sets off the very Gevrey-like aromas of various dark berries that are liberally laced with notes of earth, underbrush and the sauvage. There is reasonably good richness and mid-palate concentration to the dusty and moderately robust flavors that possess solid depth and length on the youthfully austere finale. This is a wine that could actually be enjoyed young though I would advise holding it for another 5 to 7 years first. 90/2021+
