Altron LS1 Ladder Stay — column & pole ladder support

• Designed to hold an extension ladder away from a CCTV column or pole so installers can climb safely and avoid contact with the column face or gutters.
• Offered as factory-supplied or as retrofit kits: LS1 (factory), LS1/C (box-section retrofit) and LS1/P (tubular pole retrofit).

Construction & installation

• Formed from aluminium channel (typical channel 25 x 25 x 3 mm) with a channel length shown as 430 mm on the datasheet.
• Retrofit kits supplied with appropriate U‑bolts/backplate; U‑bolt diameters vary with application (datasheet shows 6 mm and 8 mm options).
• Typical installation: align and bolt aluminium channels to the receiver box, trim to width if required, then secure the box to the column/pole with the supplied U‑bolts.

Use cases

• Ideal for installers and contractors who need safe, repeatable ladder access to columns and poles when installing/servicing cameras and communications equipment.
• Can be supplied fitted to new columns or retrofitted to existing box‑section or tubular poles using the LS1/C and LS1/P kits.
