Using a Japanese calligraphy technique called Syodou or Syuuji, Masayoshi Oya has painted strokes like the thick noodle called Udon. For Fine Little Day the Udon pattern has come to live on woven linen in a collection consisting of kitchen linen, cushion covers and fabric by the meter.
