Ajedrez is the latest perfume by FRASSAÏ 

“Ajedrez is a tribute to my grandfather and to the chess players of the past while celebrating the younger generations making history today. Chess masters enter into deep concentration, reaching an almost meditative state. I wanted to capture this idea of slowed time in a perfume.” says Natalia Outeda, FRASSAÏ’s founder and creative director.

The fragrance transports us to a 1960s chess players’ dimly lit room, where the air gently exudes the elegant fragrance of a well-dressed gentleman; dry spices, iris, a hint of tobacco, and moss. The game develops slowly, like FRASSAÏ’s carefully crafted perfumes.

Time can move forward, or backward. Time is inverted. Sometimes, it seems to stand still. The pause gains importance. In standing still, there is movement.
