A nice Mario Wojnicki Model 220T2 fiberglass ferrule bamboo fly rod, 7'3", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. Mint, unfished condition. Serial #32214. Pentagonal design with a two opposed node pattern. Medium-fast full flexing action. The ferrule fits are good and the rod is nice and straight. Lightly flame mottled cane with a mildrum stripper and chrome snake guides and tip tops. The rod is wrapped in a light apricot color with black tipping at the grip and tip tops. The ferrule wraps are a darker maroon with black band near the collar on the female and shoulder of the males. Fiberglass ferrules which includes a composite ferrule plug. Western Powell-style grip 6 3/8" in length with a composite rear cork check. The seat has two slim sliding bands over a flatted wood spacer and the bottom of the seat has a cork flare out to keep the bands on the seat, the bottom half of which is again composite. The rod weighs 3.2 ounces on my scale. It packs into a tan light canvas rod bag and aluminum tube with brass fixtures and the model number etched into the top of the cap.
