Parsec 2 is a futuristic additive synthesizer that brings the power of spectral synthesis to the Reason Rack. Unlike traditional subtractive synths that filter sounds away, Parsec 2 builds complex timbres by adding up to 1,024 individual sine waves (partials) together. The result is a sonic palette that ranges from shimmering cinematic pads and crystalline bells to aggressive, "ripping" basslines and evolving textures that are impossible to achieve with standard synthesis.
