Rust-Oleum 7200 Floorcoat Gloss is a single-pack, solvent-based floor coating based on a urethane-modified alkyd formula for extra durability. Designed for ease of application with excellent flow, it provides a hard-wearing gloss finish that offers UV resistance and long-lasting protection. Perfect for garage floors, warehouse spaces, concrete drives, and garden slabs, it can also be used for line marking.

This versatile coating provides resistance to abrasion, neutral detergents, lubricating oils, fuel, and petrol (short contact periods), making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For added safety, combine with Rust-Oleum Aggregate for an anti-slip finish.

Surface Preparation

Remove oil, grease and other contaminations with Rust-Oleum ND14 Cleaner/Degreaser or high pressure (steam) cleaning in combination with appropriate detergents. Sand old intact coatings to roughen the surface in order to establish a good adhesion. Check the
compatibility with old intact coatings. During application the surface should be dry and
clean. On porous concrete a first coat should be applied with 7200 diluted with ± 5%
Thinner 633. Ensure concrete is at least 28 days old and moisture content lower than 6%.
Remove curing compounds by means of dust free blasting or acid etching with Rust-Oleum SE108.

Directions for Use

To ensure homogeneity, coating materials should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.

Apply in a dry and well-ventilated area. Temperature of air, substrate and coating between
5°C and 30°C and relative humidity lower than 85%. Temperature of substrate must be at
least 3°C above dew point.
