The rod is in unfished condition. The blank is a handsome honey color with slightly darker transparent honey colored wraps with red tipping. Magenta colored agate stripping guide. Oxidized guides. The spigot ferrules fit together nice and tight as they should with a 1/8" gap to allow for wear over time. Black witness marks. Cigar grip with a straight taper much like a Garrison-style grip. Oxidized dual ring reel seat with fine knurling over a beautifully figured mortised wood spacer. The rod weighs a lean 2.05 oz. The action is on the fast side of medium-fast. Designed for a weight forward line. Comes with original bag and labeled aluminum tube with fine brass fittings.
