A wonderfully symmetrical sculpture of a European dancer designed by D.H. Chiparus. She carefully balances on the balls of her feet. Exhibiting the strength and control of a trained dancer she extends her arms out gracefully. Her unique skirt extends outwards parallel to her skirt. This delightful dancer stands on a four-tiered black marble base. The costuming, styled base and sculpture design make this a wonderfully decorative piece. It was crafted using the lost wax method and is signed D.H. Chiparus.
