Density Platelets Gel - PRP Tubes

The Density Platelets Gel - PRP tube is a blood collection tube for the production of platelet-rich plasma. It enables easy and quick preparation of e.g. platelet gel, fibrin gel or bone marrow cell gel. The PRP tube is used in the application of autologous blood products. It is used for local administration of growth factors in high concentration.

The Density Platelets Gel - PRP tube contains a separating gel based on an inert polymer and an anticoagulant which separates the platelet-enriched serum from the red blood cells during centrifugation.

PRP is produced by collecting autologous venous blood, which is then centrifuged and concentrated. This results in three layers: platelet-poor plasma, platelet-rich plasma and red blood cells.
