Mathys Murfill Quartz – Elastic, Waterproof & Textured Wall Protection

Mathys Murfill Quartz is a high-performance, elastic wall coating with a decorative quartz structure, formulated for long-lasting exterior protection in both normal and industrial environments. Available exclusively in 15kg - 101 White, it delivers excellent waterproofing while remaining water vapour permeable, allowing surfaces to breathe and resist moisture damage.

Specially designed to protect steel reinforced concrete from carbonation and corrosion, Murfill Quartz also offers outstanding elasticity to bridge hairline cracks and accommodate structural movement. Its textured finish enhances durability and appearance, making it ideal for demanding conditions.

Surface Preparation

Murfill Quartz can be applied directly on old (sound) paintwork after thorough brushing
down.
-Chalking paints or substrates must be treated first - after high-pressure water cleaning -
with Pegafix.
-New or non-painted substrates: on porous materials apply first a coat of Primer 44HS or
Pegafix.
-On smooth non-porous substrates apply a thin coat of Noxyde diluted with 25% water or
a coat of Pegalink.
-For stain, graffiti blocking and/or very fast recoating on all substrates, use Zinsser
primers Bulls Eye 123 or 123 Plus, or Cover-Stain.

- Cracks < 0,5 mm wide: fill up with Murfill.
- Cracks > 0,5 mm wide: fill up with Elastofill or Mur-Filler.
- Active cracks must be bridged with Murfill fleece.

Directions for Use
