For sale here is an impregnated Orvis Wes Jordan 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 76178. Made in 1975. The rod is in unused original condition. All sections are full length and straight. Moderately tempered cane with transparent caramel wraps. All script is clean and bold and includes the original owner's name. Cigar grip 6 3/8" in length with thumb and outer palm indentations. Aluminum down-locking reel seat over a beautifully figured walnut spacer. The blued ferrules are size 12/64 with a great fit, nice and tight. The rod weighs in at 4 oz. The action is a wonderful medium-fast. Best suited for a five weight line. Perhaps the only stick you'll need all summer. Original green bag and leather tube.
