Founded in 1941 in Maibara, Shiga Prefecture, NANGA is a Japanese down manufacturer committed to domestic production. Known for using safe, high-quality down and unique sewing techniques, it is regarded as one of Japan’s leading brands for winter down outerwear.

Materials trusted for firefighting gear
The outer shell blends polyester with Kevlar for exceptional flame resistance. While Kevlar is best known for its high strength and elasticity, it also offers a wide range of protective properties including flame resistance and heat resistance, making it a material used in firefighting suits and gloves.

NANGA’s sustainable down
As a company working with down, NANGA actively collects, refines, and regenerates this limited resource into new products. Why NANGA use the non-pack method
NANGA down products adopt a “non-pack method,” in which down and feathers are placed directly between the outer and inner fabrics. This enhances design and reduces weight. Down or feathers may appear on the surface or through seams, but this occurs as part of the manufacturing process and does not affect product performance.

Designed with a clean no-collar neckline for a refined appearance. It layers comfortably under hooded tops without bulk and allows scarves to wrap smoothly, expanding styling options.



Large snap pockets on both sides provide secure storage. The pocket interiors are lined with a warm fabric that prevents cold sensation when hands are placed inside.
