Our 2-Rise Straight Gooseneck with Cap is normally used at a landing or balcony to raise the rake handrail to the height of the balcony handrail. A Straight Gooseneck with Cap consists of an up-easing, a vertical rail drop and a level cap piece to allow it to sit upon the top of an Over the Post Newel Post.

Used to connect an ascending handrail with a horizontal handrail at newel junction where handrail continues on with an over-the-post system.
