The sophomore release from Silkk The Shocker, MADE MAN finds the No Limit Soldier dropping his usual Southern-flavored rhymes over 17 sharp new tracks. Though most No Limit releases heavily feature guest appearances from other label mates, MADE MAN has that and more. Joining Master P, C-Murder, Mia X, Fiend and The Ghetto Commission are the mega-hot Jay-Z ("You Know What We About") and Mya ("Somebody Like Me").
Other standout collaborations are "It Ain't My Fault 2," where Silkk and Mystikal deliver their usual brand of hectic hip-hop. "End of the Road" has Sons of Funk and Silkk kicking verses about losing someone close to you, and makes clever use of a piano sample from Lionel Richie's "Easy." Snoop Dogg and Silkk finish up the album with a G-Funk special called "Get it Up." MADE MAN makes it clear that Silkk knows what his fans want and he gives it to them every time.
