A special estate find, this US size 12.50 men's fire agate ring is made from solid 14 karat yellow gold. Purple and blue fire agate colors are known among enthusiasts to be rarer than other colors; when cutting and polishing the material, one quick mistake is all it takes to lose either color due to the way they form in the stone.

The purple in this stone is subtle, particularly in indoor light. It isn't until you view the stone under a bright light or natural sunlight that the it shows its true character: a soft purple predominant color gently iridesces with green overtones and dark blue to teal banding that rolls along the an edge.

The ring mounting has been completely reconditioned and can be sized. The stone shows light scratches along the surface as the result of wear. Because of the complexity in working with purple and blue fire agate colors, we strongly suggest enjoying the stone as-is. Refer to the photos and video for more details.
