The newest piece in his repertoire, Shifting Tides brought Clay back to what led him to resin in the first place. After selling out most of his ocean-themed pieces, the artist would make a reference to "resin's liquid form being so conducive to water as a subject" and gesture around the gallery, only to find no pieces illustrating the concept.
