Ethylhexylglycerin:10.0% The preservative Euxyl PE 9010 is also known as Plantaserve E.IT is a liquid cosmetic preservative that combines phenoxyethanol with ethylhexylglycerin, providing broad-spectrum activity. To effectively eliminate organisms from contaminated items, a minimum contact duration of 48 hours is required.

Plantaserve E is an effective preservative system for personal care products like creams, lotions, and serums, as well as hair care products like shampoos and conditioners. It quickly eliminates microorganisms introduced by this pathway, extending product shelf life. It is also effective in anionic, cationic, and non-ionic environments.

SOLUBILITY: Soluble in polar solvents like propylene glycol and propanediol. Limited solubility in water (1% at 20°C). Glycerol and sorbitol are both somewhat soluble.
It may be utilized in pH ranges up to 12, is resistant to hydrolysis, and can withstand temperatures up to 120°C. Recommended use levels range from 0.5% to 1.0%, with a maximum of 1.1%.
