Watco Asphalt Crack Filler is a simple, effective solution for repairing cracks in tarmac and asphalt surfaces before they develop into bigger problems.

Cracks allow water to penetrate beneath the surface, leading to erosion, frost damage and costly deterioration. This rubberised bitumen-based filler is designed to flex with the surface, sealing cracks and preventing further damage.

Easy to apply, the liquid formula can be poured directly into cracks using a spouted can or watering can, making it ideal for quick maintenance jobs across a wide range of environments.

Suitable for car parks, walkways, playgrounds and general asphalt surfaces, this product helps extend the life of your surface with minimal effort.

Limitations:

• Designed for bitumen-based surfaces only
• May soften surfaces containing coal tar – test first
• Not suitable for non-asphalt substrates

Surface Preparation

• Remove all loose debris, dirt and vegetation from cracks
• Ensure the surface is clean and reasonably dry
• Oil and grease should be removed using a suitable degreaser
• Light brushing or sweeping is usually sufficient
• Damp surfaces can be primed with a tack coat if required

Proper preparation ensures maximum adhesion and performance.

Technical Data

Directions for Use

1. Stir thoroughly before use.
2. Ensure cracks are clean and free from loose material.
3. For cracks up to 3mm wide:
   • Pour directly into the crack using a spouted can
   • Brush off excess material from the surface
4. For cracks 3mm – 25mm wide:
   • Prime the crack edges with the product
   • Mix with sand to create a mortar consistency
   • Trowel into the crack and smooth off
5. Once dry, lightly dust with sand or cement to remove any surface tack.
6. Allow to cure fully before trafficking.

Avoid application in temperatures below 5°C or in wet conditions
