For sale here is a Sage Z-Axis 8100-4 10' 8wt fly rod. Made in the U.S.A. The rod is in excellent+ condition. There is, however, a small area of scratches on the second section near the stripping guide. This is hardly noticeable. Beautiful deep green sanded graphite blank with matching wraps. Black, gold, and burgundy tipping at the signature wrap and female ferrules. Ceramic stripping guides. U-shaped hook-keeper. Knurled, aluminum winding check. The full wells cork grip is in great shape with only very light soiling. The cork/burl cork fighting butt is also in excellent condition. The black aluminum uplocking reel seat features two locking ring for ultimate confidence the reel will stay in place. The ferrules fit together tightly as they should and are also sound, no cracks. The Z-AXIS rods were designed to be very light in the hand, fast and accurate up close as well as when reaching out. This 10'er would make for an excellent steelhead or salmon rod.
