Cautery Unit for Ophthalmological Surgery

This sterile disposable cautery unit is suited for ophthalmological operations, thanks to the low working temperature of 600 °C. The relatively low temperature spares the surrounding tissue during haemostasis as compared to standard cautery units that work at over 1,000 °C. 

The disposable cautery unit is available with various cautery tips so that the appropriate shape can be chosen for each application. These instruments are individually sterile packed in boxes of 10 cautery units and the long sterile shelf life guarantees economic stockpiling.
